Unable to restore backup of library structure in CHMI
I have created user defined Alarm and Event List configuration object.
If I take the backup of this object and restore it in an another system then I loss all the configuration of that object.
I also created user definde trend templates and make some custom configurations for trend displays.
I am also unable to restore its backup.
at the time of restoring the backup an error msg comes "Backup can not be restored."

The Import Export tool is a bit crude - you really need to know if there are any dependencies that you need to bring along or not. Sometimes you do not need to bring a dependency - e.g. if the dependency exists on the destination system with a compatible content.
Alarm and Event List Configurations depend on other aspects, e.g. color definitions.
Log Configurations depend on Log Templates, etc.
Different systems may have different alarm categories - hence it may not be possible to transfer an alarm filter from one system to another unless the very same alarm categories exist there.
In this particular case, I believe this caused the alarm filter configuration to go lost during the transfer.
A full backup and full restore is the safest way to transfer a configuration.
The export tool can be made to include dependencies, however, this may result in tremendous large AFW files which is not practical to work with.
