800xA Aspect Directory ACS1(Aspect Connectivity Server 1) Service Error
We shut down ACS1 (Aspect Connectivity Server 1) for cleaning and when we restarted it we received an alarm: "Aspect Directory ACS1 Service Provider inoperative". See attached file (underlined in red line).
I checked in the Engineering workplace > Service structure> Aspect Directory ACS1 service provider to restart this service. I unchecked the "Enabled" box > Apply to stop the service. Then i checked again the "Enabled" box > Apply so as to restart the service. I could see in the Status tab that the service went to "Initialize" mode. However after a while instead of going to "Service" it went to "Error" (see attached file).
Any help to restore this service will be much appreciated.

The error code (0x8a...) shown slightly to the right of the error message on page 2 of the PDF is of interest.
Most probably, the aspect directory file has become corrupted, deleted, inaccessible, etc. and you need to cold start the aspect directory or restore access permissions.
\OperateITData\AspDir\MainDb.afwdb
The [Workplace Structure]Web System Workplace:System Event List may have more information. Browse events of concern and select "Event Details..." and look for additional information stored in the Long Message field.
To cold start, just rename the \AspDir\ folder to e.g. \AspDirCorrupted\, etc. and see if next restart of the service is successful (a new folder will be created and a copy of the aspect directory from another server is synchronized there). Once synchronization has completed and redundancy is restored, the old folder can be deleted.

We renamed OperateITData\AspDir folder and restarted the service. It took some time to synchronize and finally the Aspect Directory ACS1 Service came into operation and redundancy restored. The relative alarm cleared and system is now ok.
Thank you very much for your help.
