How do I reconfiguring Freelance?
I have a DCS system with AC800F, running Freelance V6.2 under Windows 2000 (with a hardkey came along with). I have 2 PCs one of them is for combined ES and OS. And also an operation station. Due to computer hardware limitation, I am upgrading to Freelance v9.2. I have installed Windows XP SP3 and Freelance v9.2SP1 for the Combined ES vs OS PC with excactly same Resource id, ip configuration as previous settings on Freelance v6.2. The another operation station hasn't yet installed so remain with windows 2000 still.
However, after installing and importing the project to the new PC I faced the problem as in the picture belows:

It shows that Wrong Station Type and I do not know what to do with this problem
So could you please guide me step by step in order to move up with the old project file and new Freelance version? As well as how do I solve this problem please?
Thank you,

Hi,
My understand PC1 where you upgraded to 9.2 (ES+OS1), PC2 where 6.2 installed (OS2) right?
As per your sceen shot OS(VIS) showing Wrong station type, i think this is OS2 (6.2 version), in this case you are trying to download from 9.2 version Engg station to 6.2 OS which is not possible. You have to upgarde to 9.2 in PC2 also where only OS is running
And PS(AC800FR) node showing Wrong station type, for this need to upgrade controller firmware to 9.2 version through configure window.
hope it helps you...

Hi,
Did you upgrade the firmware version of controller to the latest version?. if not use Configure tool to upgrade the controller firmware.
Thank you all,
I have upgraded Freelance v6.2 to Freelance v9.2 for my project sucessfully.
The reason for the No Connection problem was that I have not run the Digivis yet as it should be before the commissioning process.
Thanks once again...
