CDE: what is the effect of exceeding the limit of connections or blocks in a diagram page
Control Diagram Editor always shows a warning when the the number of connections or blocks on a diagram page has exceeded the specified limit. But it does not prevent the user from adding new connections or blocks. Downloading to the controller with these numbers exceeded seems also to not have any effect on the logic or controller.
Does anybody know the reason for this limitation?
Should using a little more connections/blocks than specified be an issue (sometimes it is really convenient to keep a couple of blocks more in the same page)?
Is this just a warning or should we expect related errors if goind beyond these limits?
Thanks and best regards.

The first version of CDE could have bad performance doing routing of connections when using many objects and connections. The limits were added to avoid complaints about performance. Performance has been improved after that but the limits were unchanged. There are no related errors when exceeding the limits.
