You can change Calculation to Automatic. Although I believe this has nothing to do with report values. If in the template you have done the calculations then it will come automatically for the reports.
Can you be please more specific, in place of value, what you are getting (if not the number, then some statement would be there)

the process running excel.exe may not be correct setup. As far as I know Run Now uses your current login and scheduled reports use 800xA Service Account.
Your problem can be that your user has too few rights, doesn't belong to the Domain any more, or isn't configured as 800xA User.
Sometimes 800xA users are not defined as Password never expired, therefore strange things happens, especially when it is Service Account...

There are two Aspects associated with each Scheduled Report, the Action Aspect and the Scheduling Definition Aspect. The "Test Action", accessed via the Action Aspect verifies only those entries in this aspect. The "Run Now", acessed via the Scheduling Definition Aspect tests the capability of the Scheduler itself. There are log files associated with these functions, shown in the attachment provided. Additionally, there are enhanced logging features via MS Registry settings, (be careful when changing), that provide enhanced information. This is also described in the attachment.
You mention that this was working, therefore I suspect something has changed, ie. and upgrade to 800xA, an upgrade to MS Office, etc.
I would suggest looking at the described log files, and if help is needed, open a support case with your local RAC, including these log files with opening the case.
