Is it possible have redundant and non-redundant S800 IO cards in same cluster
We have 4 nos of redundant AI845 with TU845 in Profibus cluster, Now we need add another 2 nos of DI810 with TU830 (for non-redundant IO) in the same cluster.
Is it possible? Please suggest..
Non-redundant S800 IO modules requires single line of electrical module bus(back plane which is supported by TU847) where in red-S800 IO requires redundant eletrical modules(back plane which is supported by TU846), So you can't combine non-red and red IO in the same cluster/stations so its better go for either use the DI840 with Tu843/tu842 based on the mouting arrangement (vertical/horizontal) you can use single single Di840 also so it works as HCIR.
else go for the separate cluster if you have the space with tu847/ci840 and the non-red S800 IO.
