Not geeting Alarms and Events in the faceplate in BMI Library system .
i am not geeting Alarm and Event in faceplate and Alarm list of Control Application . i am using Minerals Lib 5.1/5 patch7 for AC800m and Base 800xa S.FP 5.1.4-1.
I guess you cannot see any Alarm (completely empty list?), so please check
the AC800M OPC Server has connection to the Controller (smiley)?
in the 800xA Service Structure:
the Event Collector Service is configured for the AC800M OPC Server and running?
do you get an orange frame around the Alarm List?
Go online with project in Control Builder M, navigate to suspect object that should be in alarm state, right click it and select Alarm Conditions.
If you see 0 the alarm block is not activated, or configured incorrectly (too long name, not unique name, etc). If you see 2 it is in idle state (no trigger). An active, unacknowledged alarm should have 5 (I believe)
1 and 6 are disabled and auto disabled states which will prevent it to go into alarm. However, these states give indication in Alarm Control of faceplate (a crossed out icon).
If you see 3, 4 or 5 there should be an alarm in the AC 800 OPC server. Verify that second (AE) tab do list this controller. Then verify that there is an Event Collector service group tethered to this OPC server, and is in Service state.
To rule out filtering problems, right click object in alarm state in Plant Explorer, select Properties, then Subscribe for live data and look at the Alarm Global Properties:AlarmConditionState property. If it is non-zero, there is an alarm, but your filter is most likely preventing it from appearing in the alarm list.
Also, verify that your object has an Alarm Control... this aspect is required to enable the upper right corner of the faceplate to show alarm states. It is known to disappear or become with problems at upgrades.
