Hello,
Please check message list, is there any system message related to FI830 ?
No need to replace the hardware card, But diagnose first what is cause of this.
Might be configuration or parameter fault or changed ?
Also check in hardware tree in comissning mode in CBF...what it says is it green tick mark or red triangular mark ?
Hi,
Additional to Sumit's point, sometimes warnings will come when profibus channels are open like channels might be activated but not connected anything or if any overflow/underflow happens to the configured channels, so please check the profibus configurations.
Hi subramani tn,
If you click the FI 830F module with red triangle symbol the web service should show You more information on any alarms in that module. Please check, if this shows anything.
In most cases this kind of symbol is shown if there is/was a hardware failure in the module. Maybe it is latched on it or maybe there is still a problem. Also check any of the above mentioned sugestions.
Hope thia helps,
Mike
Thank you all,
Please find the additional logs as requested.
Hello,
My observations...
From controller log appears there is HW error on slot2 F2 FI830, But strange hw shows status light green and in hw tree everything appears fine.
Though it is showing error on webserver @ F2 slot, Is there any issues in profibus communication on that profibus line ?
If yes, Highly recommended get connect with local ABB service support people.
If not, and it's not plant running condition or can afford controller power reset, then try power OFF/ON controller, if there is any hw issue you will get same error again, else error will disappear by hw self test and may be error counter get reset.
Second thing observed controllers are not timesynch and also redundacy synch issue,
And you are using non-standard IP address, if possible switch to standard IP settings i.e Primary controller E1 card - 172.16.1.x/Secondary controller E1 card- 172.16.1.y subnet 255.255.240.0.(x,y can be between 1-15), both controller E2 card switch should be on setting F.
