Multisystem upload error...
I get the error:
"Error - RAS: E_AFW_SNS_NOT_FOUND(0x8abb0a23) Requested object or structure node is not found in name server."
What does it mean? The systems is in the same domain and dns environment. I can ping both ip adress and computer name from both sides via RNRP routers.
I have connected and disconnected provider system a lot of times, do i have to "clean" some name cache or something?
Thank you in advance.
Best Regards // Mattias
This has probably nothing to do with domain nor DNS.
I interpret the error as "a subscriber (RAC) is trying to upload something the provider (RAS) system can not provide"
Q: Have you deleted object(s) from the provider system that currently exist as uploaded objects in some subscriber? I assume that you then also need to remove them from the upload configuration in the subscriber(s) - deleting in provider will probably not cascade to subscribers.
Some engineering actions, eg "Replace Type" in Control Builder M causes the old object to be *deleted* and substituted with a brand new. I assume upload internally uses GUID referencing and "CBM replacing" could cause objects known by subscriber to "go lost". Hint: check Creation Time in object details. Objects in provider should have older creation time than corresponding subscriber objects.
If problem remain, please have a support case filed.
Whats the order of Upload configuration ?
Any structures containing composite structures used for graphics must be uploaded before structures using the aspects. Generally this means that the control structures, or part of the control structure, should be uploaded before the functional structure. Use the
up/down button in the upload tab to change the upload order.
