Some Questions about Freelance 2013R1, TrendServer, S800IO
I have some issues to discuss ie.
1) S800 Profibus IO blinking (monitored from Control Builder F > Hardware Structure)
Currently I’m doing loop check for each Analog input channel of S800 IO, which is connected to AC900F redundant system via Profibus. The problem is Profibus slave (the S800 IO) keep changing its status (ie. “Diagnostic data present”, “Slave not ready”, “Slave not existent”) which can be monitored from Hardware Structure (please see attached image), so that Analog input value indication inside the program (Control Builder F > Commissioning/Online mode) also keep changing between 0 (zero) to some real value.
I’m pretty sure there is no problem on the Profibus IO cable (hardware), but I’m not sure on the software (eg. Baudrate, Bus Timing, etc). I’ve tried to increase Baudrate value to 3.0 Mbps, and currently everything is OK. Please advise if there are any other potential cause of this problem.
For information, we have 10 nodes of S800 IO with approximately 1500 IOs
2) Trend server licensing
Client is asking to separate between Trend server and Control builder F into 2 workstations. ABB local gave us only one hardkey dongle which are installed Trend server and Control Builder F license, and I insert the dongle into Control Builder F workstation. Can the license be read by Trend server workstation from the LAN network?
3) Control Builder F, VIS object bug
FGR display suddenly changed with another FGR display while we modify one of them, so unexpectedly we have 2 copy of one FGR, and the other one is gone. It has already happen twice.
4) AC900F Controller load indicates 100%
AC900F Controller load indicates 100% in the controller display. Is it okay? For information, currently I’m still testing the IO system, so all controller still on manual mode.

News from the disappeared FGR front.
It happens, during debugging of plausibility errors in your FGR. If you use the Plausibility error list to jump to error number one in a first FGR, then fix it there and then press the NEXT ERROR button (that should bring you to error 1 in a second FGR) you will overwrite the second FGR with the fixed content of FGR1.
This bug is fixed in Freelance 2016SP1, wich will be out around end of August time frame this year.
A workaround is, that before you press the NEXT ERROR button that would jump to the second display you click on the SAVE EDITOR button in the upper left corner of the Graphics Editor window. After that save you can click on the NEXT ERROR button without overwriting the second FGR.
Hope that helps.

4) AC 900F controller load indicates 100% - is it peak load or continuous load ?
if it's continuous load is NOT OK.
First of all double check and verify via system variable 'res.CPU_Load' what value it is showing ? If it's 100% always, then check few things....
have you configured any PLC mode task? under AC 900F resource ? If so could be the source of 100% load...
If not any while loop or infite loops used in programming OR any task is in not running state ?
If not what is memory status ? you can check from controller web browser or can check from system variable 'res.PRAM_Free', 'res.PRAM_Size', 'res.RAM_Free', 'res.RAM_Size' there should be some free values. means memory is available not full. if it is not the case need to change boot configuration parameters...
Strongly recommended to get connect with local ABB support people incase of need.
byetheway didn't get you on "For information, currently I’m still testing the IO system, so all controller still on manual mode." if it's in relation to Close/Open loop controllers, AFAIK manual/auto mode soen't contribute much to controller load,
3) can not find any field alert or limitation in release notes, might be a bug, not sure....
byetheway which Freelance version you are using ? with build number ? cehck in about window...
2) commented in question comment section...
1) It's always difficult to responce on communication issues as there are several possibilities... but referring to your old thread
double check wiring is correct, secondly just try first with default setting and thing will workout.
You have 10 nodes what is a distnace of profibus network ? is it within the limit ?
But as replied if things working fine @ 3.0 Mbps then let it run as it is....But I am wondering things should also work fine with lower baudrate default setting is 1.5 Mbps... if all the slaves are able to communicate on this baudrate...
Again suggested to get help/support from local ABB support people...
hope that helps....
That topic number 3, could it be that you get confused by the Graphic-Pool? That is a sort of clipboard that looks like a FGR, but the content depends on what has been copied there.
Try the Page-Down key to see if your disappeard FGR re-appears. Another Page-Down brings you back to your FGR.
If that explains your disappeared FGR, I propose you read the information about the Graphic Pool in the Operator Station Configuration manual.
