Stange behavior of Alarm -800xA 5.1
I have a question about alarm indication of objects. Please refer to the attached screenshots.
Library used is signal library. You can see from the screenshots differential normal is active but it is not giving any alarm.
OPCDA and AE indications are smiley. All services are in service state(green). I couldn’t find a wrong configuration.
ABB MMS Server for AC800M/C : StartupType=Manual,Log on as : 800xAService
ABB OPC Server for AC800M : StartupType=Automtic,Log on as : 800xAService
Interesting thing is if you force the signal and change the Input status then remove the force then it will generate the alarm.
Let me know if you have any suggestions to fix this issue.
Note that the controller cyclic load is 65%. Is it came out of the controller load ?

Go online with application in Control Builder M and use the Alarm Conditions feature (right click suspect block).
If CondState is 0 (zero) the alarm is not enabled, or there is a parameter fault (eg name not unique)
If CondState is 2 (idle) the alarm is not active. Check users guide, etc
If CondState has other value, there should be an alarm in the HMI.
Check for possibility for alarm overflow (Google AKS for Alarm Manager, Overflow, Special Configuration). Disable "Make new alarm each time a condition gets active" as it may burn a lot of storage. Also, give system alarm categories dedicated (and smaller, eg 500) storage to make space for process alarms.
Hi, You may need to add the Alarm Control Aspect ,Which can populate the alarms.
