->Now node is created in control structure
3.In right side double click on Generic control -> configure window will get open and select configure, service provider will get created like connectivity server and aspect server
4. In left side, right click on controller and select New oject -> give name of the object
and select Protol then select "PLC OPC client"
5.Select Edit driver-> select Codesys OPC server
6.In right side double click on PLC uploader and select start, it will upload the data from AC500 PLC to xA system through Codesys opc server.
I hope this helps you...
You can connect through Generic OPC server Network in Control strcuture.
By creating the Network object,a wizard will guide you to connect the ac500pls opc server (data source)
Uploader aspect is available on the Network object to mirror the content of opc server.
When the OPC server is running on non-800xA System node, make sure that DCOM settings are configured to establish the connection.
Refer 3BDS011222-510_A_en_System_800xA_5.1_Configuration for more details.
In this context, I found there is series of object types for AC500 controller and I/O modules check image below, So my question, is it possible to connect AC500 controller and I/O over profibus using this object types in 800xA system with ac 800m controller ?
Because I saw every one answers posibility communicating over modbus, it's interesting now if possible over profibus, it's faster then modbus !
