Export of trends with several signals to excel
Hi
Is there a quick way to export the content of an active trend with several signals to excel? I have tried the following:
Click the trend curve, press ctrl+c, go to excel and press ctrl+v. Then I get only one of the active trends (only one of the logged signals).
Open the log configuration for each of the signals, read data and export to .csv-files. Then I have to define a common end time and number of data points. This is very time consuming when you have to make many trends with several signals and the time range can vary between the signals (apparently the number of data points does not exactly correspond to the time range).

Hi,
The first option which you tried should work. Place the ruler in the trend having more signals, press ctrl+c, go to excel and press ctrl+v. All signals data should be available in excel sheet (Drag the page down in excel sheet to see the other signals)

Afaik, the output you get follows the current trend's treatment (i.e. you may get timeaveraged data). Select ExtMomentary to get raw values as they were recorded by the historian.
You should find it in C:\ProgramData\800xA\DataDirect\Bin, import it as an Excel add-in.
Save the reports as CSV or text, if you export them as an XLS file and move the file to another PC the link to the logs will be broken and you will just get bad data.
