start new batch from PFC
Can I use the batch_sbatch command on a BMA?
I want to start a new batch with a new Batch ID from a PFC.
Yes, select the command BMA. The syntax is tricky with the escape characters. Configure Status, Output and Error with variables to troubleshoot. Batch ID generated must be unique in the system without special characters. Parameters are all passed as strings (integers and float need to be converted to strings str(ParameterName))
"batch_sbatch -r recipename -b Batch" + str(gvarget("BatchCount",0) + " ParmaterName =" + str(ParameterName)
where recipename is the recipe you want to schedule,
Batch ID will be Batch1 where 1 = gvar BatchCount Value
ParameterName is the name of the float or integer parameter in the recipe being scheduled and the value being passed in is the same parameter name and value as the running recipe.
