Freelance System crash when try to connect to RSLinx Gateway OPC Server.
Currently we are working in a project with the freelance 2016 System and we have a problem to connect the Freelance System to RSLinx OPC Server, I mean, we need connect the Freelance System like a client with a RSLinx OPC Server of Rockwell, we have done the configuration following the manual but this doesn’t work. The RSlinx OPC Server is installed in different PC that the Freelance Engineering.
We have used others clients OPC and this worked very well, only the OPC Freelance doesn’t work, when we synchronize or use the browse of Freelance Engineering, sometime it closes, doesn’t find items or show an error messages (no found DA or AE items).
We have integrated others OPC Server (PGP OPC Server, Softing OPC Server, Matrikon OPC Server ) to Freelance System and this worked too, the problem is when we connect Freelance System with RSLinx OPC Server.
We appreciate your help.

Hello!
Just to make sure: You have installed and configured the OPC tunnel on the PC that runs the RSLinx OPC Server?
Some other Questions for clarification:
1. Which Windows Operating system does that PC have?
2. The other clients you used to connect to the RSLinx OPC Server, did they run on the Freelance Engineering PC or did you run them on the RSLinx PC?
3. Is there some error message in the Windows Event Log regarding the OPC connection?

Hello!
You wrote that browsing sometime closes. Do you mean the Freelance engineering crashes? If yes, are there any Windows event log entries (Application or System log) related to it?

Yes, but now the system and communications are very good.
One of the problems was that the ports recommended by the Freelance system were closed in both system, we open the recommended ports and now the communication is good.
Best regards.
