800xA - problem with system when domain controller is down
I see that we have problem when there is no access to domain controller (domain controller is down). Problem looks like system is very slow, sometimes even operator workplace is not responding and there is no way to restart it. What is more it is impossible to display trends.
Do you have any idea what to do to keep system working when there is a problem with domain controller?
Version of my system is 5.1 rev B FP 3

The 800xA system is not designed to operate without a domain controller in reach (unless workgroup is used). For security reasons are all network connections in System 800xA subject to authentication - without a domain controller authentication is not possible any more and network communication may break down.
Would it be possible to have the system to run on a subdomain which you administrate and have full access to? The subdomain may have a trust to the upper domain so that users from the upper domain can login to the 800xA system while keeping the crucial user's and groups (service account, administrative accounts, IndustrialITAdmin and IndustrialITUser) in the subdomain.
