Not able to reach Controller
I have PM866 redundant controllers. i can ping the controller from Engineering WS, however the controller ip is not shown on rnrp and i am not able to download to controller. earlier i could download. I checked all cables are connected properly.

To learn what you are pinging; use "arp -a" to see the ARP cache.
To know what path you are pinging on, use "route print" - RNRP will *silently* reroute traffic over to secondary network in case primary network connection is lost. It's easy to see how RNRP works by studying output from "route print" before and after disconnecting a network cable.
All ABB AC 800M controller's MAC address begin with 0023.
I'm not sure, but I believe the MAC is available on some label on the controller. Also the switch management interface can be queried for the Forwarding Database (MAC database).
Examine what MAC the switch list on the port where the controller is connected.
If you see the expected MAC, controller is responding to ping, but is probably hung and need to be reset.
Please have a proper support case logged if you want some root cause analysis made.
It looks like you have a duplicate IP in the network. Just try once, when you remove this controller from network (unplug ethernet cable), still you can ping. If you are able to ping, then there is another system with same IP. In that case, you have to change your controller IP.
I suspect, if you have not changed your Ethernet setting inside Hardware tree (0.1) with correct controller IP, then it will take the IP assigned in the Ethernet setting. In that case, you have to set the IP of the controller with serial port only.
Check whether you have duplicate IP in the network, by removing your controller from network (unplug Ethernet cable) and pinging same.
I suspect, you might have downloaded to the controller without changing Ethernet setting in controller hardware tree in CBM. Under Controller hardware tree structure, path 0.1 Ethernet>> Settings, you have to assign the correct controller identity in 'IP Address' . Otherwise, it would take the IP (default) assigned inside. In that case, you have to set the IP again on the controller by using IPConfig tool.
