CHMI 5.1 TREND ISSUE
in chmi 5.1 revb after restarting the pc historical trend was not generating automatically.it was starting again after disable/enable the log configuration in object structure.how to over come this issue?.....
Most problems with Basic History stopping or failing to collect data can be resolved by restarting the basic history service in the Service structure.
Otherwise, check you have followed all the rules about log configuration ( eg, only one log aspect for each object etc ) and that the OPC Server and OPC DA Collector Service are completely started before the Basic History service starts.
Are any events of interest recorded in the [Workplace Structure]Web System Workplace:System Event List?
What are you logging, a PLC? What kind?
Were any abnormal OPC statuses shown in the Log Configuration -> Status tab when pressing the Read button?
If you can see any timestamp belonging to AFTER the reboot the problem is more likely to be in the OPC server feeding the data. Basic History performs AddItems() and rely on that the OPC server will feed data from that point on.
