AC450 controller CLOCK_SYNCH DB change from Master to Slave - does it need restart to take effect
In a site there are multiple AC450 systems and all are configured as individual time Masters (1,2,1) including Connectivity Server RTA Boards. Would like to make AC450 controllers as time slaves(0,2,0), can we do this mods while controller is online... without a need of restart.
Does this needs restart to take the new changes into effect.
One Option:- restart of clock task (CXAE000) in the controller
Also, i am looking for a proper statement said in any of the manaul, kindly share if you have come across.
Many thanks for your time and help.

I'm not sure about what manual say but i did this changing couple of times when controller is running and it effected immediatly.
On the nodes concerned, perform the following:
#MDB CLOCK_SYNCH :CLK_MAST=0 :LOC_TIME=2 :CLK_SEND=0
#SLLEV SYST
*LOCPSET CMDS:TP02.CT
*RET CXAE000,10 (Restarts the clock synchronization task in order to activate the new settings)
*LCLKP (Result should be = Synched_by_high_precision_time) Please note that after command *RET CXAE000,10 is entered, it might take 5-10 minutes before the new settings are effectively completed.
I hope that the above will help you

P.s. To my best knowledge there must only exist two (2) nodes configured as 1,2,1.
One will be Clock Master, the other will be Clock Master Backup.
