Events on Information manager
Hi,
Could anybody please let us know why this system event messages occurs on Information Manager, the message is:
"Collection : First 1 ReadRow failures from Objects : {45E80A6C-E134-427D-810A-913F7DB13F0D}"
I feel some issue with the log consistancy with the associated GUID/tag/log, but do not have access to system as this is from site.
Any troubleshooting methods would also be useful.

ReadRaw is the collection call made to feed IM log with data from primary log running in Basic History.
1) Does this log exist in Basic History?
2) Is IM config in sync (hsdblankt -checkDB)?
3) Basic History unavailable or overloaded?
Answers
The most typical cause of this issue is that a majority if not all of the IM Logs are being collected at the same time from the Basic History Logs, (Direct Logs), in the 800xA system. The most typical solution is to execute the "Stagger" command in a Command Prompt window in the IM node. This will move portions of the Logs to be collected in the IM at different intervals so as to reduce the CPU load. An explanation of this procedure can be found in the manual, 3BUF001092-510 C, (latest version).
To best resolve this issue, a Support case should be opened with your Regional Action Center to verify that this is the issue. Should you open a case, zip and return all the log files found in the IM Windows directory located by typing %HS_LOG% into the address bar of the windows explorer.

I agree with Stefan, i.e. hsDBMaint -checkDB is a god way to find out. Another, more basic thing is to access the blue icon with an i on the IM node and check that logs are in synch, and if not, force synchronisation. Have one ore several objects with Log Configuration aspects been deleted? Anyhow, the -checkDB will find these issues. You may need to take the IM offline i.e. stopping it with PAS and then 'clean' the database using hsDBMaint. If you do not comfortable with this, follow Geof's suggestion and raise a case.

Lars
