Load on MB300E Network
Please describe the physical setup of the network such as media type (10Base5, 10BaseT), link speed, length of network segments, type of hubs and/or switches.
If the available network bandwidth is 10 MBit/s the bottleneck is seldomly (never?) the link speed itself. I.e. the maximum capacity is not decided or derived by the network load.
It is more important to look at the communication need controller vs controller and controller vs RTAboard/PU410box (MB300 OPC Server) and the application and system load in these nodes.
If you need further assistance, please submit as much information as possible to your regional ABB support center and ask them to forward the case to the L3 Support Center in Sweden (from where Advant/Master and 800xA for Advant Master is supported).
1) RTA Board Load in Connectivity serviers should not increase above 50%
2) The change of signles in MB300 busshould not increase above 2000, if so it will effet the response time of the bus.
3) Max number of nodes allowed on MB300E bus is 45.
