Drop Down menu in PG2 for better navigation
In most of the graphics for any project, I have seen there are many aspect view buttons at the bottom(or top) of the graphics. So, I am trying to create a single drop down button which will replace this row of many aspect view buttons.
The idea is if I take mouse on that button (mouseup) a drop down menu should come with options : Area 1 , Area 2 ,Area 3 etc. If I further go on Area 1 it should show submenu such as : Subarea 1, subarea 2 etc. and then I can click on it to go on that aspect.
Till now I have successfully created a combo box containg all the areas but to go on subareas , I am not finding any options.
Guys pls help. If u kno how to do this in simpler way pls email me on
What you have asked, will help your job easier, but there is no direct graphic element which can be used as drop down menu for aspect view menu replace ment.
It needs to be customized in the code level. which is not a normal engineering process.
In ABB system all over the world, pople use Aspect view buttom at the bottom or side of the graphic display for other graphic page access.
However your point is also valid, as i am working for R&D, i can put forwardyour point for future implementations..
upon discussion with equals on your topic, what we understood you are using list/combo box option in PG2 ?
to navigate to your area and from dropdown of area you want context menu (or nested dropdown) to subareas. but you can go up to one level second level there is no configuration possibilities I think...
It's a good idea, if you find some work around pls update us on aks.....
Hope it helps to you.......
