800XA system v5.1 too slow
We have one 800XA system v5.1, with batch server (one server), IM server (one server) and Aspect/ connectivity server in a redundant configuration (two servers).
the problem is when the two servers Aspect/connectivity are up, all the system is too slow, to open a workplace per example.
When one of servers (Aspect/Connectivity) is not working, the system works normal.
We have a redundant domain controller, windows server 2008,
What could be the problem?

Hi. There could be any number of issues at play here. Slow Workplace startup is not really a problem as this does not effect production or much of anything. However slow graphic call-up (exceeding 2-3 secs) is an issue, but you have not stated. If the system seems OK without the redundant servers running, then you may have an issue with DNS/Data replication etc. In general adding a redundant server(s) should not impact call-up speeds at all. As a suggestion it might be worthwhile checking that the Primary services are all online (In service condition) and then removing the redundant nodes out of the system (remove servers) and then checking that they are loaded correctly (same options as the running nodes) then if all seems OK, add them back in. Note any errors you see while removing as this might give you a clue.
If you do not wish to try this on a running plant, have a look at the Windows logs on all server machines (including DC) and maybe you will see a pattern or something that can help.
Thanks for your answers, it was a problem with DNS, the Ip adress for controller network was in the DNS list, I disable this ethernet card, and restart computer, and then in DNS properties uncheck this Ip Adress, use the option only this adress (ip for server network), and system goes to normal,
but I think is a good idea to check afinity, i will check and I will comment if i have some good result.
