PM591 Error Code 0153286827 - SRAM Disk has been formatted
I tried to store a programme to the SD card using 'sdappl' command in the PLC browser.
Now whenever I power cycle the PLC I cannot connect the PC programmer to the PLC through an ethernet cable. After the PLC is power cycled 'AC500' is displayed on the LCD screen.
The only way I can connect the PC programmer to the PM591 (via ethernet) is to hold 'RUN', powercycle the PLC until I see NOD 01. If I select NOD 02 I can then connect to the PC programmer via ethernet. But if I power cycle the PLC again I cannot connect the PC programmer and I get error message 'Error Code 0153286827 - SRAM Disk has been formatted'.
How can I restore the PLC so whenever I powercycle the PLC I can connect the PC programmer without having to hold ‘RUN’ button and select NOD 02 menu option?
When you hold the 'RUN' button in front of the PM591, you are selecting the start up mode.
The default should be MOD00, but currently you are on MOD01. Please change it to MOD00 and power cycled your PM591.
MOD00 = The CPU start up based on the configuration "CPU parameter > Auto run".
MOD01 = The CPU switch to STOP mode, no start via 'RUN' button
MOD02 = The CPU is switch to RUN mode.
To change the mode into 'MOD00' or 'MOD02' press the up/down arrow key, then push the 'OK' button. Recycled power to the CPU.
