DP820 configuration in AC800F
hi, for DP820, how do i use the I/O editor to configure he pulse signal to be used for Flow totaliser. In the IO editor page do i put the signal in the Byte or the other one?
The flow totalizer comes from flow meter which share thhe 4-20 mA signal as well. So 1 flow meter is giving both AI and pulse.
To get the full description of memory mapping for S800 modules use Memory maps manual for either CI801 or CI840 (depending on which You use). With this You will know not only what's the module configuration (as Summit showed above), but also what those it mean. For example You now know how to assign channels to DP820 configuration, thanks to the post above. But do You know which input channel is used for pulse counter value and which to measured frequency value? No? Then here You go (names according to Summits post above):
Channels M1_DP820_C1 and C4: pulse counter values 1 & 2
Channels M1_DP820_C2 and C5: set of 7 status bits + DI channel 1 & 2
Channels M1_DP820_C3 and C6: measured frequency value 1 & 2
Channels M1_DP820_C7 and C11: Coincidence comparison value 1 & 2
Channels M1_DP820_C9, C10 and C13: Set of bits used for syncing/freezing pulse counters and setting the conditions for syncing/freezing
Channels M1_DP820_C8 and C12: Set of 8 bits used for reseting pulse counters and coincidence and activating DO and LED.
