add client with redundant network
Dear support line!
- In our system, we have 2 domain, 2 AS, 3CS, and use redundant network also. Normarlly, we run system at AS with ip 172.16( primary network). Now, ethernet port for 172.16 are full, we connect 1 client node with redundant network( 172.17).
- When we add client for that computer from AS with" update remote node". It is Ok at AS. 2 folder operateITdata and operatorIT temp created, service account ok, service started, license status viewer ok at client, everything look normally. But we cannot start system from client computer, it show " system stopped"
=> So my question:
800xa system designed for only add client with primary network 172.16 when AS till running on primary network?
Voted best answer
If you are having only one network card on a node, that network card should be connected to primary network (172.16.xx.xx).

Yes
Dear support line!
I have just tested again. In our system, if i remove primary cable(172.16), run only redundant cable(172.17)on client node=> system till running on client node for PC computer. In this case, i can ping primary network(172.16) on other server or client node( i guess that it run via rnrp of other computer, which have both network.
But on laptop engineer, which i tested before, till cannot run system with only redundant network(172.17). I also cannot ping primary network on other computer with laptop engineer. Laptop engineer has only 1 ethernet port.
=> i see it different between PC client and laptop client in this case. Can you give me some advances?
