TCP/IP Blocks in AC700F for remote monitoring
Is it possible to use the TCP/IP send and recieve blocks with an AC700F?
Probably jumping ahead of myself with the project we are doing but in the near future we are looking to monitor customer sites we have these units on, basically view values and display all sites on one screen at our head office. My thinking is I could have a controller based in our office which communicates with all others and displays the values in Digivis, a page/screen per customer as it were.
What other options could be open to do this?
Thanks in advance.

hello,
Which version you are using ? Eth S/R supported in new version 2013(coming soon) with all the controllers i.e AC 700F, too. With latest current version V9.2 SP2 Eth S/R is not supported.
Will you be connected with all customer sites over same subnet/network? Yes, Then collecting all values over eht s/r and display all sites on screen could be possible. Other options could be remote access, even using mobile or using tab, check threads linked here

One more possibility could be with new version 2013, AC 900F with 4 eth ports supports Modbus tcp (all other controllers in new V2013 supports Modbus tcp, too) incase all customers sites are on different subnet you can connect over Modbus tcp/ip with different 4 network to AC 900F. I am not sure practically/technically this solution is viable. Never tested and worked on that but it's just an idea.
Hope that helps...
