I have error when down loading any modification to operator stations (u have version error)
Usually this happens if someone used a different project file to load the operator station, or the operator station was never downloaded by the FE.
Freelance Engineering (FE) creates a database of the version numbers for the different resources (operator stations, process stations, gateways..). When a download happens the version number is incremented.
The resources also keep their version numbers. FE in comissioning mode connects to the resources and compares the version numbers they have against his database of the version numbers they should have. If there is a mismatch, then it shows "Version Error" in the P-Tree for that resource.
Such a situation means the FE has no clue what configuration has been downloaded to that resource. That means it also cannot determin which difference to download. Therefore the only way out is to do a "Download whole Station".
This could happen, if you restored a backup, but after the backup was made you had downloaded the operator station. Then restoring the backup (which doesn't know about your download to the OS) a version error would show for the OS.
Another way to create a version error is to rename the project (edit project details in the project manager) and then save the project (without downloading first). But in that case AC 800F and the OS both would show the version error.
