Freelance CBF Standard License and User Defined Function Blocks
In the last Freelance project, we developped some user defined function blocks. Our client has a standard ControlBuilder F license. When he tries to compile our project, it fails saying he does not have license for user defined function blocks. I thought he could at least use them.
What configuration should we do to allow our client to use those user defined function blocks? Or must he upgrade to ControlBuilder F Pro.

Hello, is there a way to use these function blocks, you need to open project that have your own function blocks, with one control builer profesional licenced,
then you can set one password, to your function blocks, then you can export the function blocks with password and you can use in your project with standar licence.
It is not possible to modify the blocks, and also you can not see inside the block, but it works.
yes, you need to upgrade to Control Builder F Pro. as creation of user define function block is not supported by CBF standard. Check in getting started, page 14 linked below @ http://search.abb.com/library/Download.aspx?DocumentID=3BDD012560R05&Langua
