OPC Server for Data Access is not connecting in Secondary Server
I have two seperate 800xA servers (Aspect and Connectivity combined) ,both are individually working fine and have seperate licensing server.
I tried to make this as Redundant Servers.
I deleted the system from the second server then I added this as a secondary server from the primary server.
All the service provider for the secondary server added automatically except for OPCDA connector.
I manually added Service provider for Secondary server. But this is not going to service mode because the OPC Server in the Secondary server is not connecting for Data Access.
It is telling that "Files are missing which downloaded to the controller".
I copied the "Files" folder from "ControlITData" folder from Primary Server and Pasted in Secondary server.
Now the OPC server is connecting.
Why this synchronization is not happening automatically?

I assume you are referring to the AC800 OPC Server?
It sounds like you have not configured the secondary AC800 OPC Server to run under the 800xA Service Account - which is necessary for it to be able to download required filéas from the system.
Use the Setup Wizard or Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Services to check & set the AC800 OPC Server's account. Then restart the OPC server.
If this does not help, collect and submit both OPC Server's log files (OPC Server Panel->Show log file...)
I've checked the secondary OPC server's log file now.
The OPC server is unable to connect to the 800xA system and download files needed to go online with the controller.
I have two things you may want to check/verify before I suggest that you contact your regional ABB Support Center and submit the logfiles and other observations you may have.
(ignore the arrow character immediate to the left of the UNC paths below)
1) System seems to be on workgroup. Verify it by logging in as the 800xA Service Account and performing the following command in a Terminal Window:
Do this from both servers - if no file listing is returned, the workgroup and/or username/password does not match and need to be corrected.
2) Clean the FSD cache in the problematic server.
a) Use Task Manager to kill the AfwFsdClient.exe process
b) Delete the \\OperateITTemp\FsdCache folder
c) Reboot the computer
What I have done
1)There are two folders (items, data)inside C:\OperateITTemp1\FsdCache in the secondary server and I deleted the content of this two folders.
2)I rebooted the machine.
Now the OPC Server is working fine in both servers.
Thank u verymuch
Still I have some doubts
In my secondary server no process is running like AfwfsdClient.exe in the task manager.
I am seeing one process is running like AfwfsdSrv.exe.Is it Ok?
