i have a Unit which comes from Library (Duplicate Units) ,the Units itself has a task assigned, my requirement is inside the Unit i need to create a fast task as i have a Closed loop which needs to executed even faster, while i try to create task for the children it does'nt shows the available task which means i cannot assign any task to the children objects which been derived from the Library.
can anyone give me some idea on how to do this.Find attachement for betterment in understanding.
Just declare a Parameter (or External Variable) on the "Unit" with Type string and assign the Task of the internal Control Module in the Library as the name of that Parameter (you have to type it, there is no selection given).
In the instances you can define the Value of that Parameter as a string constant pointing to the Task (e.g. 'MyController.Fast') - i'm not 100% sure if this works for distributed applications as well but for normal Control Modules this is working to point to different Task on the instances inside a Library Type.
