fail to add a client node
I generated a new client for an existant system 800xA sv5.1 RevC in domain
when i tried to connect it from the primary server i had some followin error:
Security in not initiated (or initialized) on remote node OW1 (name of my new client)
For generation, i did the followings steps:
-all sofware installation is done in workgroup
-install qualified security package
-introduce this computer into the domain (successful)
-set 800xA service account & password with 800xA service account in domain
-primary server & new client to be added are seen each other with rnrp
-try to add this new client from primary server
I got error ....
Could you tell me what was wrong during installation ?

Sounds like a problem with the domain membership and/or 800xA Service Account settings.
Moving between workgroup and domain is not officially supported and may cause problems.
Please contact your regional ABB Support Center and ask for advice. There exists an unofficial 800xA Service Account password change procedure that can be applied to resolve problems following a workgroup / domain change.
The first step itself is wrong. All the windows components need to be installed in the local administrator account, followed by adding the machine in the domain and all 800xA softwares needs to be installed in the installer account defined in the domain.
During the installation of PPA you would have got a pop up to add the service account details. You would have given the local service account and then you add this node to a domain and the domain has a different service account. I don't think this will work.
Please use the automated installation to avoid getting into such situations.
One more thing...
The ABB License Client service in Windows Services is NOT updated with new service account settings from PPA's Config Wizard.
After changing workgroup/domain settings you must manually reconfigure the launching user for this service (and possibly more depending on system configuration - refer to the unofficial document I mentioned previously).
My problem is resolved by creating a new client setup package including the existant domain.
With this new setup the "add client node" is successful.
Thanks a lot everyboby.
PS: One more question....
With existant system, if I want to add new clients which are not planned before, how can i process with the actual set of setup package ?
In my case, I have to create a new set with system planner.... (AS,CS,IM,DC, newEng1, newEng2, etc....
