Setting up CN2 IP address
Hi I have a800xa system running on v4.1, we have two networks primary and secondary. Whilst performing a cold restart the controller lost the IP address, I was able to set the primary address of 172.16.x.x but how do you set CN2 IP?
RNRP show that path 0 is up but not path 1 (all the other controllers and servers are up on both paths)
I looked in the hardware setup in control builder this is set to the default IP address, I also looked at the backup controller set up in ipconfig and were using are own rule of the next address along (172.17.x.x) instead of the 0.0.2.0 rule.

CN2's IP is set on Ethernet Card in hardware tree (0.2?) in Control Builder M (you can actually set CN1 's IP too in case IP need to be changed - just change identity to match new IP after downloading).
For a new controller/project CN2 must be "enabled" since default is disabled.
NOTE: After downloading or enabling you must perform a short controller reset to get the new setting to take effect.
For redundant controller, backup IP must be set to a different IP but within the same subnet as the primary IPs (primary controller is continously pinging backup to ensure its readiness to take over). The "Default Rule" ensures this - when using custom IPs, be sure to fulfill this requirement to avoid unneccesary warnings.
