PLC Connect and Matrikon OPC,
I saw an answer that you posted a couple of month ago where you suggested to try to verify the OPC Connection of PLC Connect using an OPC Server like Matrikon.
I am working in the same topic now, I'm doing some test between PLC Connect and Matrikon, but I'm having issues finding the right way to call the signal. The path that I'm using seems to be wrong. I have tried several options. Using Matrikon DDE and Matrikon Simulation...
Using Simulation, for example, I used a Random value int1 (under de name Temperatura) and I added this alias to a group (called Proceso) so in order to configure a PLC Connect Signal.. in the Signal Configuration Aspect a chose "connected" and tried with the following path MATRIKON.OPC.SIMULATION.1\PROCESO.TEMPERATURA --> "Apply" and then in "Integer PCA" Aspect I checked the "Suscribe for live data" box.. however after try several syntaxis I kept having the same error Quality -> "Bad/Not Connected"... do you have any idea of what I'm doing wrong??

I really do not know what could be wrong, but here is the procedure to configure one OPC server.
1. define one PLC controller type, OPC client.
2. then you need to select in OPC server that you want to connect: matrikon.
3.after that you go PLC object and select aspect upload, this procedure puts all data in control structure.
4. then you can verify if data are connected, you select any variable and then check configuration aspect, variable should be connected if not, you can select the option and connect.
5. finally you need to deploy, this is one aspect that is at network level.
after deploy you can verify again if data is ok
I think it is necesary for your configuration. the last step, just to do deploy.

Thank you Patrik and Carlos,
With your help I achieved to get the data on PLC Connect..
The main issue was that I had not done the configuration on PLC Controller Configuration.
It was configured with the default Internal Driver Ver 5.0.1-0 so I changed it by PlcOpcClient and pointed to the Matrikon Server (Simulation in this case for test)...
Then I used in signal configuration path the browse button to search my signal... once selected.. deployed and voilá I'm reading the data through PLC Connect now!!
Thank you so much I really appreciate your help :)
