800xA Object error on ValveUni triggers alarm on Interaction Window, but not on Main Faceplate.
I am having a lot of trouble getting alarms to work in my 800xA system. For example , I have made an object error on a valve (ValveUni FB), which generates an alarm on the interaction window in Control Builder M, but not on the Main Faceplate aspect in System 800xA. This is the case with all alarms, I can’t see any of them in the “Alarms and Event List” in my workplace.
I am at a loss here guys, what have I missed? How am I supposed to link alarms triggered in the Control builder M, to the alarms I can see in my workplace?
Please note that I am currently running this system as a combined aspect and connectivity server, while using a soft controller.
Any suggestions will be most appreciated.

Check the basic things are configured to get the alarms.
To get alarms in HMI you need Opc AE so for ac800m, you need to define the nodes/controller nodes in opc server panel (small window check in may be desktop shortcut available) and it should be smiley face.
Then create event collector service group and service provider to look into the OPC AE server for ac800m in the service gruop special configuration.
Search AKS with Google - there are many threads giving input to your question!
- Smiley faces on *SECOND TAB* of AC 800M OPC Server panel?
- Event Collector service added for AC 800M OPC Server?
- Unique names, etc. on AlarmCond modules?
- Condition Status >0 and <6 when checking in CBM when OnLine?
Check whether all points covered by Stefan is Satisfied.
Also check in Controller Settings for Parameter
AE Max number of Subscriptions. It should be Greater 0. Atleast for 1 for one Connectivity Server.
Without this setting greater than 0, you will not get Smiley in AE tab of OPC Server window.
