Not able to retrieve Data from History server to 800xa
Dear,
In one of our project we are using 800xa 6.0.1 with 800xa history, In that we are facing issue, Where as I am able to Retreive data only for past 6-7 days not more than that, I checked the History data in history server through Vtrin and Data is avaialable in history server for past 2 months.
And also I observed 2 alarms related to History Sync Service, Can you please suggets what may be the issue? Please find the attached Alarm Screenshot.
Now History data is Available in History for Past 2 months but only 7 days data can be seen in History Display,I suspect only DCN Data is getting retrived in 800xa Trend display, Not the History Server Data.
Can anyone Suggest what may be the issue or Configuration need to be done to complete the job successfully.

Has your history ever worked properly ? Have you made large changes to the quantity of signals being collected ?
Right Click and check the "Details" of your history error messages to see if there is any extended or more detailed message.
Check the Services Structure to see if all services are running.
Many problems with history can be resolved by restarting the History services ...
Restart each History Service, one at a time. Wait for the service to fully stop before trying to start again. Wait for the service to fully synchronise before stopping the redundant partner service. If a service is already showing error, restart that service first. Stopping and starting a history service may take up to around 20 minutes in large systems, be patient.
There are three MS Services on the History Server that provide for the movement of data between the History Server with the Master Token, and the DCN node that is in the Service mode, (if there are redundant DCN nodes).
1- VtrinLync (not to be confused with the Vtrin application) - This service moves the DATA between the DCN and the History Server.
2- RTDB-TagConsistencyController - This service will move the Log Configurations from the DCN to the History Server, while the History Server will move these configurations to any redundant DCN and to the HA Server if present.
3- RTDB-EventForwarder - This service will move the A/E data from the DCN buffer into the History Server. The History Server will ensure that this data is moved to the second DCN and to the HA node if available.
Verify that these three services are Started in the History Server.
Your indication that you see only 6-7 days of data indicates that you are looking at the Tag data stored in the DCN, as by default, that will hold approximately 7 days of data. I assume this is being monitored via a PPA Trend display. As such, it is suspected that there may be something wrong with the VtrinLync service.
Concerning the messages you are getting about the HistorySyncService, which is in the Service Structure of PPA, verify that the "Special Configuration" tabs of both the Service and the Service Provider are configured correctly according to the installation manual.
Otherwise, I would suggest opening a case with the Support Group with your local RAC, and getting this looked into. There are directories in both the DCN and History Server, (typically on the D:\ partition in the ...\RTDBData\diag directory of each that contain information about errors that may be occurring. Zip and return everthing in these directories when opening a case.
