How to send data from AC800M Controller to other 3rd party DCS?
I have AC800M redundant controller
cpu: PM861A and using PLC Connect system(using compact control builder for programing),i want to transfer data of my PM861A to 3rd party DCS .That 3rd party DCS is main DCS for the total plant. So how i share my PLC data to that DCS.
How it possible?Which communication i need to follow?
Thanks in advance

It Depends .....
OPC is designed for transferring large amounts of data to a windows based computer. Its GREAT for an HMI. It works reasonably well to transfer data to another PLC or DCS controller but will always require a windows server or servers somewhere. And not to put to fine a point on it - OPC bridge software is not always as reliable as you could wish for. Its important to understand the strengths and weaknesses of OPC before you go this way. Personally I would avoid using OPC for critical interlock and permissive signals between systems.
Depending on your model of DCS a large number of serial and ethernet options direct to the DCS controllers are available. These include Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, Profibus, Profinet, Foundation Fieldbus (yukk) and a variety of proprietary ABB interfaces like MB300 etc.
For interlocks and permissives, you may even wish to consider hardwiring digital signals.
I can agree - if you install AC800M OPC Server on DCS's connectivity server, you can receive all signals from AC800M to DCS (their server). Then you can send this data to DCS's controllers.
Otherwise you can use Modbus - TCP/IP better, because for RTU you need customized software to make it slave
