Aspect View InvokerL: "Popup" Graphic Display vs Send to Frame
I've got a frustrating problem... I've created my own graphic element that contains two aspect view invokers (see attached.) The left button is suppose to popup (open in an overlap/separate window) the attached view reference. The right (small) button, is suppose to send the graphic display to a specific workplace frame ("BaseMain4" in this case.)
What appears to be the more complicated part, right button sending to BaseMain4, actually works well. The problem has been the left button. While in a running operator workplace, nothing really happens when you click it. The current windows loses focus as if something is about to happen, but then nothing ever pops up anywhere.
I've tried messing with Invoker ScreenID propert, View Class settings and View Class Mapping for the workplace, but I still can't get this graphic to just popup in it's own window. I would think that setting PresentationView = Overlap, TargetID="" would do the job.
Please help! All suggestions welcome.
-Open your aspect as a popup (overlap) from a simpel Aspect View Invoker instead of your own graphic element?
-Open your aspect when PresentationMode = Replace?
-Open an aspect of another aspect category eg. a Graphic Display PG2?
-Open the aspect when you are using another kind of workplace.?
