Non-administrative accounts unable to view Graphic Display aspects
In a few instances, it has been observed that some user accounts which do not have windows "Administrators" or "Power Users" rights are unable to view Display Graphic aspects on IndustrialIT Workplaces. An attempt to view the graphic results in a grey screen which states among other things "Error Calling Up The Graphic Aspect". If the error details are viewed, it will report that ActiveX libraries are not installed and may reference PG Expression Library or similar.Symptoms:
Log into the computer with an administrative account and temporarily add the user/operataor account to the LOCAL windows Power Users security group.
Log on as the user/operator experiencing the problem and call up a display graphic. If the graphic is displayed, the user does not have the proper rights to the msvbvm60.dll file located in the C:\Windows\System32 directory.
Log back in under an administrative account. Remove the user/operator account from the Power Users group.
Navigate to the file c:\Windows\System32\msvbvm60.dll in Windows Explorer, right click and select "Properties" and select the "Security" tab.
Ensure that the LOCAL "Users" windows group has Read and Read & Execute permissions on that file.
Clear out the FSD Cache directory (located in C:\OperateITData\Temp or OperateITTemp and reboot the machine.
