'Page Cannot Be Displayed' message appears when Thin Client Applications (Web Enabled Module Details, Block Details, Operating Parameters) are called from Tag Objects.
Depending on the Account logged on to the console, there are two possible reasons this occurs. Typically, if the Administrator (or its equivalent) is logged on and cannot access these aspects, the Web Server, via IIS Manager needs to be configured correctly; the procedure follows in the next section. If the IIS Manager is configured properly and only the Administrator (or equivalent) can access the the Aspects, then the Config Server Database needs to be configured via SQL Enterprise Manager, to allow non-Administrator accounts to access the aspects.
To correct the settings for the Web Server: From the 800xA for Harmony Connectivity Server log on with an account which has Administrative Privilages. Select Start, Programs, Administrative Tools, IIS Manager. Expand the Web Sites, Default Web Site, ABBWeb, Default, Thin Clients.
Right click on AbbDataService and select Properties, then select the Directory Security tab. In the Authentication and access control click 'Edit...'
Ensure the 'Integrated Windows authentication' check box is the only one selected and click OK. Repeat this procedure for the AbbThinClients. Attempt to display the Module Details Aspect logged on as an account with Administrative privilages, if it is successful, log off and login as an account with non-Administrative privilages and attempt to call the Module Details aspect from a Tag Object. If the aspect can be successfully called in this account, then there is nothing further to do. If this step is not successful, then proceed to the next step.
Launch the SQL Enterprise Manager and expand the tree structure to Console Root, Microsoft SQL Servers, SQL Server Group, ConfigServerHost, Security, Logins.
Right-click on Logins and select New Login... On the General tab, select the elipse on the Name field
For Domain installations, ensure the domain name is listed in the 'List Names From:' For Workgroup installations, ensure the name of the Connectivity Server is listed. Highlight the 'IndustrialITUser' from the list and click 'Add' followed by 'OK'
Select the 'Database Access' tab and in the upper box, select the Permit checkbox for ConfigServer database and master. Next, select the ConfigServer and in the Database roles for Config Server, select the public and db_datareader checkboxes. Repeat the procedure for the 'master' database.
