"Advant Controller 400 - PIDCON can cause overwriting in memory" resolves the following:
- The error occurs after the command DIBM or EBM
If the PC element PIDCON is built in a Controller after other PC elements are deleted it will most likely use a memory area that has been used earlier and therefore contains “garbage”. This is normally no problem but, due to an error in the PC element mentioned above, this “garbage” can be interpreted as an instance number and the following accesses will cause overwriting somewhere in the memory. The error occurs after the command DIBM or EBM (DIsable or Enable Build Mode).
