To remove the problem the command diskette System & Database Maintenance (MasterAid 215/220) can be used in the following way:
- Set the MasterPiece 200/1 in configuration mode ECONFIG (P2 on CPU).
- Do the command SLLEV SYST
- Do the command FINS 181,x where x=instance for DX (x can be read in the DB element DX)
- Do the command MPRO 3
- The system will answer
H’15 for DSDX 451, should be H’11
H’16 for DSDX 453, should be H’12
H’04 for for unit without expansion, should be H’00
- Type the correct hexadecimal value

The problem will be eliminated in the next main revisions of the products concerned.

In the data base for DB element DX the parameter TYPE_EXP can erroneous be changed during certain conditions. The result will be that the node using the DX data base will not start up.
The problem occurs when ACT for a DI signal (belonging to a remote I/O unit) is set to 0 in a normal running MasterPiece 200/1 (indication P1 on the CPU) where the I/O unit is not running due to no power, communication error, removed bus controller etc.
