Installation instruction
Server PC
1. Stop the the AdvaSoft 2.0 for Windows NT. This can be done in the following way, open the services application in the control panel. Stop the ABB Advant ServiceManager service.
2. Unzip the contents in the zip-file into the directories where the AdvaSoft 2.0 for Windows NT is installed (default c:\ABB). Overwrite the files when asked.
3. Start the AdvaSoft 2.0 for Windows NT. This can be done in the following way, open the services application in the control panel. Start the ABB Advant ServiceManager service.
4. Wait until the system has restarted completely.
5. On the server machine run the AEPatch.bat file located in the Advant\ directory (the system must be running).
Client PC
1. Close all AdvaSoft 2.0 for Windows NT applications. Plant Explorer, Workplace Manager etc.
2. Unzip the contents in the zip-file into the directories where the AdvaSoft 2.0 for Windows NT is installed (default c:\ABB). Overwrite the files when asked. Then the updating is finished.

1. The Object Description field in the event list was not working.
2. The Message Description field in the event list was not working.
3. All fields could not be logged with the alarm and event printer logger.
4. The event printer logger was not printing correct time stamps.
