- Function Chart Editor FP*1.1/0 - Problem with the function "Renumber lower level"
The Function Chart Editor software supplies a function "Renumber lower level". You find this function in the "Edit Tree Representation Menu Line" below the menu item "PCElement". This function is used to bring the item designations of the PC elements on subordinate level (on the level below the element where the cursor is positioned) to ascending order.
Since FCE release 1.1/0 instanciated Type Circuits may occupy more than one item designation (if there is more than one PC element on the highest level inside the Type Circuit). In these cases the function "Renumber lower level" should reserve item designation numbers for the Type Circuits.
This behaviour is missing. This means each PC element and instanciated Type Circuit occupies exactly one item designation. This could lead to overlaps of the item designations in the resulting PC source code. The source code can neither be transferred to a MasterPiece nor backtranslated to FCE’s internal data representation. The data for these renumbered PC elements get lost.
