A description of this resolution:
- The error will be corrected in the next revision.
Workaround:
The only way to circumvent the problem is using MA215 either for programming (the error does not occur on MA215) or as a medium to transfer the USER disk application segments.
- Connect target to MA215 FP*1.3/...
...
RUDAS
- Connect target to MA220 FP*1.0/...
Convert MA215 USER disk to MA220
Now you can work on MA220 and it is possible to save the application segments in the target via SUDAS.

'MasterAid 220: Command RUDAS. PCSYMTAB on target bigger than 68 kBytes' resolves the following:
- MasterAid 220: Command RUDAS. PCSYMTAB on target bigger than 68 kBytes
The error will occur ALL the time it is tried to retrieve a PC Symbol Table bigger than 68 KByte from a target system to a MA220 USER volume.
The error is independant of the command that is used to retrieve the PC Symbol Table.
The bug is described for the RUDAS command
Three different reactions of RUDAS depending of the size of PCSYMTAB stored on TARGET are possible:
1. PCSYMTAB file size stored on TARGET < 69 kBytes
=> RUDAS works correctly
2. PCSYMTAB file size stored on TARGET = 69 kBytes
=> RUDAS
.
.
.
'copying of application segments from target started'
'FATAL ERROR: not enough memory. TM01MAM'
The system has to be aborted with
Back in the same session on the MA220 again some more system messages could occur.
19 6 CXMHB00 ...
.
.
.
21 15 DECC300 ... 113
The USER volume will be corrupt, and it will fail to use the PCMASS on the USER volume within SLTARG or SLLEV PC
3. PCSYMTAB file size stored on TARGET > 69 kBytes
=> RUDAS
.
.
.
'copying of application segments from target started'
Here the system stops completely, the PC has to be rebooted. The USER disk is corrupt, BUT it is not possible to delete the corrupt PCMSYMTAB on the USER disk. This has to be done on DOS-LEVEL !
