Additional S-names of panel functions in V8.0H
A description of this resolution:
- Update handling
- Check with < SC1 O F S/s-name of panel function/ > whether the S-name is occupied by another function. If the affected S-names are occupied the affected function has to be duplicated or deleted and newly configured later. Thus a different S-name will be assigned. After updating, the confi with the changed S-names may be loaded.
Example of assigned S-names of the panel functions of an operator station 5:
80H * 5 + 7FH = 02FF (residence list)
80H * 5 + 7EH = 02FE (operator panel channel 1)
80H * 5 + 7DH = 02FD (operator panel channel 2)
80H * 5 + 7CH = 02FC (operator panel channel 3)
80H * 5 + 7BH = 02FB (operator panel channel 4)
"Additional S-names of panel functions in V8.0H" resolves the following:
In the V8.0H version the number of the operator panel channels is to be increased to four. This means that in the case of the standard design even four S-names are occupied now instead of two:
S-name 1 = 80H * station number + 7E
S-name 2 = 80H * station number + 7D
S-name 3 = 80H * station number + 7C
S-name 4 = 80H * station number + 7B
New configurations do not cause any problem.
When loading confi files created in versions smaller than V8.0H the S-names reserved for the two additional operator panel channels may be occupied already.
If so, wrong names will be assigned when loading the confi file. This will cause effects that may lead to initializing the station.
