FORCED MANUAL by EXT. OP.
A description of this resolution:
- Quit immediately operating mode
After resetting the "extern. Op." switch from "local" to "external" immediately quit operating mode "forced manual" before another activity (e. g. "hold/run") is performed.
The error is eliminated from firmware version 8.0F.
"FORCED MANUAL by EXT. OP." resolves the following:
- Loop control
Forced manual is triggered by an external operation (e. g. setting PAR01 to "local").
è red flashing in group display
After locally redjusting Y set again to "external" and "forced manual" is acknowledged.
è red M in group display
When, before switching over to a different operating mode, the function passes through a start routine (e. g. because of "hold/run") the function returns again to "forced manual" and Y to the value configured for it.
Two red I’s will appear as operating mode for one display cycle.
Consequences: Output skips to value configured under switchover function „forced manual" (e. g. 0% or HOLD).
1. The error concerns all firmware versions.
2. The error occurs only in the case of an operating sequence as described at 2.1, e. g. when
- acknowledged "forced manual" is pending, the "local/external" switch is again set to "external" and a start routine ("confi start", "restart" or "redundancy start") is passed through.
The underlying cause is:
- Software problem
