Protronic Coupling - Changing the operating mode on the side of CP
A description of this resolution:
- Interlocking the switch-over function
In the case of three-position controllers the switch-over function on the CP side has to be interlocked and to be performed on the Protronic side.
"Protronic Coupling - Changing the operating mode on the side of CP" resolves the following:
When in the case of a controller the operating mode is changed on the CP side the values of variables Y (F1H address) and X (E3H address) will be additionally shifted to negative values.
The error occurs only when the operating mode is changed. All controllers are affected.
The impact is especially noted in the case of three-position controllers since particulary the value of the F1H address is not determined by a control algorithm but represents the motor's position via a potentiometer.
The underlying cause is:
- Wrong value-shifting telegrams
The cause of the error are wrong, additionally sent value-shifting telegrams which have an effect on the variables X and Y.
