Prevention of SL error 0BF9 (Supply List overflow)
A description of this resolution:
- Locate the still allocatable supply list range using the tool RAMLEN
From software version 7.2H or 8.0C:
Locate the still allocatable supply list range in the operator stations, especially after voltage failures or resets by means of the tool RAMLEN (Click here for see the System Dialog 42/70-0200C-3, page 102).
In order to be able to make an explanatory result between two RAM comparisons, an attempt should be made before each start of the tool RAMLEN to reach the same starting situation in the checked station (e. g. for an operator station by calling defined displays).
'Prevention of SL error 0BF9 (Supply List overflow)' resolves the following:
- System handling
After voltage failure or reset at an operator station, it may occur that remainder supply list pieces are caught. The SL error 0BF9 occurs. The operator station must be initialized.
This situation particularly occurs when using Basic display variables with long Basic programs.
The underlying cause is:
- Caught chains of Basic display variables
In the case of Basic display variables, caught chains may be very long, so that supply list is insufficiently available in the station after one or two voltage failures or resets.
