Adjusting TEU and TA
A description of this resolution:
- Input TEU smaller/equal TA
Input TEU £ TA, i. e. if TEU cannot be set to a lower value the controller function will have to be applied to a different cycle level.
A reasonableness check will be performed in one of the subsequent SW versions. In the parameterizing dialog a TEU > TA input will then be refused.
'Adjusting TEU and TA' resolves the following:
- Loop control
When parameterizing a controller with two-position output, TEU (lower switch-on time) > TA (cycle time of the controller), it may occur that TEU is not adhered to.
The lower switch-on time is undershot.
The problem will occur:
- If TEU > TA and If during the switch-on time TE VYA changes occur and If TA has elapsed.
The problem concerns all versions to V7.2F and V8.0B inclusive.
The underlying cause is:
- Control algorithm
The control algorithm does not provide for keeping TEU constant under the above mentioned conditions.
